What are Tier 1, 2, & 3 Backlinks - Helpforbeginner

What are Tier 1, 2, & 3 Backlinks: Tier-link building (from the English tier - “level”) is a fairly effective way of so-called. “strengthening” links by placing other, additional hyperlinks on them. In the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet, webmasters quite often call it “multi-level link building”.

It should be noted that this phenomenon is by no means new. Tier link building as a method of strengthening the link mass of a site has been used by SEO specialists involved in link building for a long time. To this day, this method is of great importance and has not lost its relevance.

Tier link building is to put backlinks (backlinks) not only on the promoted resource but also on the pages that link to it (the so-called donors)

Thus, we get the following linking scheme for sites:

Tier 1 is links that link directly to a resource. It can be both natural backlinks and artificially created

Tier 2 - links leading to pages where there is Tier 1

Tier 3 leads to pages with Tier 2 links

It is generally accepted that it is best to follow such a consistent strategy: the closer the hyperlink is to the promoted or landing page (Tier 0), the higher its quality should be. For Tier 2, backlinks affixed in various articles, reviews, etc. are most often used.

Such backlinks are easy to buy on various exchanges or link selling services. With the right approach, Tier 2 backlinks will bring you 60-80% of the result. To place Tier 3, they use software for automatically pumping backs (this can be: GSA Ranker, Xrumer, Sape)

It can create thousands of hyperlinks per day since a large number of them are needed. Tier 3 links allow you to unlock the potential at 100%, there is simply no need to go to the next levels.

Strengthening the site's link profile using Tier 2, and Tier 3 link types are used by web specialists to achieve certain goals.

These include:

  • Promote a site stuck in the top 11-20 for a specific search query;

  • To increase the weight of thematic backlinks, SEO specialists strengthen the existing ones;

  • Tier 2, and Tier 3 links are often used to speed up page indexing;

  • When it is necessary to strengthen the link profile of a resource and there is simply no way to increase the number of incoming or referring domains (often related to specific topics and niches).

When using Tier link building, it is important to remember that special attention must be paid to the quality of content on the promoted zero page or Tier 0 and Tier 1.

Links of the second and third levels can be used to promote any website - there are no restrictions in this technique. When placing backs for each link, it is desirable to generate a unique anchor. For reinforcement, choose 10-20 donor pages, this will be enough.

Approximately in 2 months, the first results of such promotion will be visible (after indexing by the search engine). Place Tier 2, and Tier 3 links gradually, the strategy should look natural in the "eyes" of search engines. With the right and thoughtful approach, you can significantly improve the position of the site in the SERP and increase search traffic.
